I agree... the more the better... keeps everyone on their toes... but this one is headed in the right directions... standards-based SIP, P2P, collaborative communication... I use it on a daily basis and I love it!
Just that fact that its secure and is not routed through other user's computers is a relief and a big plus. And they give VoiceMail Free~
I have been using damaka for the past 3-4 months and I must say that damaka has the best voice quality of all the applications I have tried thus far. Moreover, the softswitch (as damaka calls it), has some really cool features like dum-dum, personalized database, text-to-voice, voice mail, off line messaging, music-on-hold etc. The application is simple and user friendly. damaka team is headed for the right direction. It would be great if they could add video to this application. I am pretty sure they will be able to provide a better real time video quality than others if the the application is truly P2P as claimed. I am looking forward to this feature.
